Danilo Mascetti

Mascetti is the winner of several national and international competitions including the “Grand Prix International – Jeunes Talents” of Montrond les Bains, the “European Grand Prize of Music – Mendelssohn Cup”, the “Concours Musical de France” Paris, the International Competition “PianoTalents” and “Bach Prize” in Milan; he started studying piano when he was five and was then admitted in the class of Roberto Stefanoni at the Conservatory of Como. He currently continues his studies at the Conservatory “G. Verdi” in Milan with Vincenzo Balzani and he had the opportunity to participate in master classes with Sergio Perticaroli, Marcella Crudeli, Benedetto Lupo, Ippazio Ponzetta; he regularly follows the periodic lessons of Vsevolod Dvorkin at the Accademia del Talento in Desio, and of Natalia Trull at the Summer School of Moscow Conservatory and at the European Academy in Erba.

He has performed in recitals and concerts in France, England, Romania, Czech Republic, Wales, Latvia, Lithuania, and in various cities in Italy, including Milan’s most important venues, such as the Teatro Dal Verme and Sala Verdi, working with orchestras such as the Pomeriggi Musicali, the Philharmonic Orchestra “Miahil Jora” of Bacau, the State Symphony Orchestra of Craiova. He has participated in numerous music festivals, such as the “Prague Summer Festival”, “Piano Festival – Galeri Caernarfon”, “Salacgriva classic music festival”; he recorded for broadcasting companies such as Radio Vaticana and Radio Magyar (Hungary). In 2014 he performed in China and represented his country at the “Kyoto International Music Students Festival in Japan”.
