Cello

She studied cello under Roman Armonas at the M. K. Čiurlionis National School of Arts. During her school years, she won first place in an international competition and received several awards in national competitions. From 1975 to 1980, she studied at the Moscow State Conservatory, earning qualifications as a solo performer, teacher, chamber musician, and concert soloist. Between 1980 and 1982, she continued her cello studies at the same conservatory, spending all seven years under the guidance of Prof. Stefan Kaljanov.

Since 1983, she has been teaching cello at the M. K. Čiurlionis National School of Arts. Since 2012, she has also served as a faculty member at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre.

In 1984, she won an international music competition. She has performed in prestigious concert halls in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Latvia, Estonia, France, Switzerland, Belarus, Uzbekistan, the USA, and Russia. She has appeared as a soloist with the Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra, Latvian National Symphony Orchestra, Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra, Klaipėda Chamber Orchestra, the String Orchestra of the M. K. Čiurlionis National School of Arts, and the Chamber Orchestra of the Tashkent State Conservatory.

She has participated in many international and national music festivals in France and Lithuania (e.g. Th. Mann “Alternative”, “Kristupas Summer Festival”, “Summer in Druskininkai with M. K. Čiurlionis”, etc.). As a chamber musician, she has collaborated with leading Lithuanian and international artists.
