He has twice been awarded a scholarship from the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania for his concert work.
In addition to his solo career, Donaldas is a sought-after pedagogue – his students have received awards in many international competitions, such as the Roma Piano Competition, the Valletta Piano Competition in Malta, and The Magnus Competition. He regularly serves on juries of national and international competitions and gives masterclasses in Lithuania, Poland, Italy, and China.
He is the head of the piano department at the Vytautas Magnus University Music Academy and also teaches at the M. K. Čiurlionis National School of Art. Debussy; and in 2021, lesser-known works by F. Liszt.
